GRADUATION DRESSES

Dear Senior Class of 2010,

Congratulations on selecting your senior gown.  Here are the directions for ordering your dress:

1. Please be professionally fitted by a knowledgeable seamstress.  If this can’t be done, please see the attached information to help you best determine the size of the dress you should order.
   
2. Fill out the credit card authorization form.  You may turn the form into Mrs. Wilcox by 11/18, and she will fax it for you.  After 11/18 you may fax or call the Alfred Angelo Manufacturer in Huntington Beach.  Fax: (714) 375-2553, Phone: (714)847-8067.  If you need a copy of the form, please see Mrs. Wilcox.
   
3. Please order your dress by 12/01/09 at the very latest.  The manufacturer needs at least four months to process your order and create the dress.
    
4. After you’ve ordered your dress, please email your senior sponsors at seniordress@gmail.com, so we have record that you’ve ordered the dress.
   
5. Remember, your dress will be shipped to your home and you will be responsible for additional alterations.  When you have your dress altered, remember to wear the exact undergarments (bra and slip) and the shoes you’ll wear the day of graduation.
   
6. This information will be posted on the senior webpage.

Graduation Gown Measuring Tips (from Alfred Angelo):

• You will need your bust, waist and hip measurements taken.  Be sure the tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body.
  
• Remember you need to be measured wearing the undergarments (including bra and slip). 
  
• While being measured, stand relaxed without holding in your stomach or pushing out your chest.
• The tape should never be pulled too tightly.
  
• Write the measurements on the enclosed dress order form.
  
• Measurements are taken to determine which size to order.  Dresses are cut to the size chart, not to your body measurements; therefore, your dress may require alterations.
  
• The size you order should be determined by the largest measurement that would be appropriate for your dress style.  Altering a garment that is a bit too large is less costly than trying to let out areas that are too tight.
  
• If you are 5’9” or taller, you will need to order extra length (add $11.41 to the cost of the dress $106.58).  Your total will be $117.99. 
  
• Complete your order from including the measurements and size you are ordering on the credit card authorization form and fax or call the Alfred Angelo Manufacturer in Huntington Beach.  Fax: (714) 375-2553, Phone: (714)847-8067.
  
• Remember to order by 12/1/09 (the sooner, the better).
