The Road to College at Washington Univ in St. Louis

Wash U is inviting high school students and their parents to a college planning conference.  This program is tailored to students who will be sophomores or juniors next fall.  Both programs are scheduled from 7:30am-11:45am and will be held on the Wash U campus.  There is no cost to attend.  If you have any questions, please contact the admissions office at (800)638-0700 or email at admissions@wustl.edu.  See attached brochure.

Colleges That Change Lives Informational Program & Fair

The program begins promptly at 7:00 p.m. with a 30-minute information session, and a college fair begins immediately afterwards, lasting approximately 1.5 hours.  Since 1998 the Colleges That Change Lives (CTCL) schools have been traveling together to meet families and counselors interested in learning more about this distinctive group of colleges and universities. The CTCL program features admission officials from the schools profiled in the third edition of Colleges That Change Lives by Loren Pope. The program begins with a panel discussion designed to encourage students to make the college search process a well-informed journey that leads to the best possible out- come: finding the right college fit for them. A college fair follows. CTCL Events are free of charge, and pre-registration is not required.

Investigative Summer Science Program

June 13-24, 2011

Applications due May 9.

For sophomores, juniors and seniors.  This program is offered free of charge to students interested in science.  Students will stay on campus, which is also provided through the program and will earn two hours of college credit upon successful completion of the program.  Applicants must have a 3.0 gpa. For more info, contact Dr. Surendra Singh at 877-639-6268 x2117. Rockhurst University Nursing Camp

June 5-9, 2011

Application due May 5

Audrey Walton Youth Leadership Conference

Mizzou Engineering Summer Camp Program

July 10-15 or July 17-22

Summer Scholars: 2 week program for rising juniors and seniors. Academic tracks include acting, archaeology, China's transformation, Dante's Inferno, The Brothers Karamazov, Entrepreneurship, Film, Life Sciences, Literature, Policy Debate & Public Speaking, pre-law, psychology, theology and voice.

Program for rising sophomores, juniors and seniors.

Offers 4-2-1 week college immersion programs focused on a subject area of the student's choice.  Courses are interactive, engaging and challenging, and students receive 3 units of USC elective credit upon successful completion of the 4 week program.  Students can choose from over 20 courses in the following subject areas: architecture, business, engineering, enviornmental studies, global studies, journalism, performing arts, pre-health/sciences, pre-law, visual arts, writing.
