An opportunity outside of class to learn about the culture, art, civilization of
Spanish speaking countries.
Membership: Anyone taking Spanish of interested in the language or culture.
Activities: Food, arts & crafts projects. Services project includes sponsorship of a child from Latin
America through Children International. We write letters to her and send money every month to provide health/dental care, school supplies and tuition, books, etc.
Cost: Approximately $8 - 10 per year to cover the cost of sponsoring our "adopted" child and sending
Christmas, Easter and birthday gifts throughout the year. We do fundraisers to offset the cost during the year.
The Spanish Club designs a T-shirt which is paid for by the students and/or different fundraiser.
