Congratulations to Siren staff writers Paige Fors and Emily Santiago for their selection to participate in the Kansas City Youth Poetry Symposium, which honors only twenty distinguished student poets in the Kansas City metro area each year. As part of the symposium, Paige and Emily will participate in a poetry reading this Friday evening at 7:00 at Unity Temple on the Plaza. All are welcome to attend. Please take a moment to
congratulate Paige and Emily and don't forget to visit the Siren, Sion's online literary magazine.
Peer ministers meet with their freshman groups this Friday during Freshman study and lunch. Make sure to turn in assigned work to your fourth hour teacher before attending.
Freshmen: Pack a lunch that does not need to be heated for Friday's meeting with your peer ministers and come directly to the New Grande Salle.
In the Light meets every Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. in the cafeteria. Come for some bagels, toast and fellowship!
Spanish Club t-shirt forms and money are due this Friday, November 21 by 3:00. T-shirts are only $6 and forms can be found in Senora Gomezs room 218.
Attention Freshmen and Sophomores: Need service hours and want to join a service group? Attention Juniors and Seniors: Are you looking for an alternative Spring Break experience? Find out about Sion's Urban Plunge here in Kansas City. We will be staying and working at Holy Family House and other local

And so it begins...another Food for Thought Food Drive!! STUCO is again sponsoring this food drive to stock the bare shelves of Redemptorist Social Services Center. There are more people than ever seeking food from
their shelves. Help stock their shelves with healthy and nutritious nonperishable food items. Last year we broke all records with over 48,000 cans. This year we are doing it by weight. Our goal is 10 tons!!!! you can bring your cans into the designated classrooms in the South Six.
